How to make chocolate moose cake

Here are the steps to make a delicious chocolate moose cake




Ingredients: For the cake: - 1 box of chocolate cake mix - 3 eggs - 1/2 cup of vegetable oil - 1 1/4 cups of water - 1/2 cup of chocolate chips For the mousse: - 2 cups of heavy whipping cream - 1/4 cup of powdered sugar - 1/3 cup of cocoa powder - 1 tsp of vanilla extract Directions:

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9-inch cake pan. 

2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until well combined. 

3. Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter and pour the mixture into the cake pan. 

4. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Place the cake on a wire rack and allow it to cool completely. 

5. While the cake is cooling, prepare the moose. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. 









6. Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to the bowl and continue mixing until the mixture becomes thick and fluffy. 

7. Once the cake has completely cooled, slice the cake horizontally in half. 

8. Spread a layer of moose on the bottom half of the cake and then place the top half of the cake on top of the moose layer. 

9. Spread another layer of moose on top of the cake and then place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour to set. 

10. Once the cake has set, remove it from the refrigerator and add any desired toppings such as shaved chocolate or fresh berries. And there you have it, a delicious chocolate moose cake that is sure to be a crowd-pleaser
